On this year we celebrate 77th independence day of our country. This is the day for all of us to celebrate and honour our nation. We should celebrate this day with a great spirit. The independence day is celebrate all over India with a great joy.

Good morning! Respected chief guest, principal, teachers and all my dear friends. My name is Jyoti and today I am going to speak few words on independence Day. As we all know today we all are gethered here to celebrate our Independence Day.
It was today on 15 August when India woke up with freedom in 1947, no one can never forget when our first Prime Minister, Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi.
No one can never forget how much we lost and how much blood we shed. We had lost a lot and we can’t forget our forefather hard struggle, painful life, and lost lives for independence day. We are living in peace because they sacrificed themselves for our independence. Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey, Khudiram Bose, Subhash Chandra Bose , and many others devoted their whole lives to free our country from British rule. I salute to all those fighters who give us beautiful Independence India where we can live without any fear and pain.
So today on this Independence Day, let’s make a promise to ourselves that we will always protect our country, by maintaining brotherhood, helping everyone, and educating ourselves. Now I would like to end my speech.
